ABOUT

Max is a cinematographer (and occasional director) from Montreal, Canada. As a DP avid of working abroad, his projects include short & feature films, TV & Web shows, music videos, ad campaigns and documentaries shot in Montreal, L.A., New York, Bolivia, Spain, Mexico, India, Nepal and China to name a few. Max's first feature effort as a co-cinematographer with Vlad Horodinca, a doc-fiction titled A Dress Rehearsal for an Execution, ended up on Hot Docs 2014’s top ten must sees of the festival and was reviewed as a“startling new documentary”, a film with " [...] a cinematography reminiscent of Bertolucci, Kieslowski, Haneke and Fellini’s films."

Over the last few years, his films and projects were featured on Vogue France, Fucking Young, High Snobiety, Ignant, BBC, Discovery Digital Network, TIFF, Fantasia IFFF, Hot Docs, NYLA Film Festival, RVCQ, Brooklyn Film Festival and many more.
